Guilin

My wife and I visited this most attractive city one long weekend in June 2008, and highly recommend it over many other Chinese cities. There are lovely wide tree lined boulevards, lakes and parks to enjoy as well as the well known Lijiang River and its scenery of limestone hills. A trip up the cable car is a must too, and of course you ought to come down on the toboggan !
